CDL 2021 Stage 2 Week 1 - Day 3 Preview

Charlie Cater

Tonight the Call of Duty League action continues with two more matches in Stage 2 at the Toronto Ultra Home Series. Here’s the odds and our preview of the games.

OpTic Chicago (1.29) vs Paris Legion (3.05)

OpTic Chicago will be looking to bounce back following a poor showing in the Major. After defeat to the New York Subliners, OpTic were sent home. However, Dashy has been their outstanding performer this season. He has dominated in the stats, and fried all season so far, so he needs to keep this going.

Following victory over Minnesota Rokkr last night, Paris Legion will be looking to keep this form against OpTic. They look like a great dark horse team this year, however, OpTic are favoured in every mode here, so a 3-0/3-1 could be a great bet.

Florida Mutineers (1.53) vs Minnesota Rokkr (2.24)

After defeat to Seattle Surge, Florida don't look good. Their gameplay is staggered and they don't seem to communicate well. If they lose this match, we can sense a roster change coming soon.

Minnesota Rokkr suffered a dominant 3-0 defeat to Paris Legion last night. This defeat included a 5-2 SnD comeback, where Rokkr lost all momentum and looked completely lost. This match is hard to call as neither team is in form, so the underdog could be a good pick.

Dallas Empire (1.11) vs Seattle Surge (4.90)

Dallas Empire will be looking to make a statement following their dominant defeat to Atlanta FaZe in the Stage 1 Major. Huke has been exceptional all season, and will need to keep up this form if Dallas are going to compete with FaZe.

Seattle Surge took down Florida Mutineers on Thursday. Prestinni is their X Factor player, if he plays well then the team succeeds, if not, it's much harder. So Prestinni needs to show up again in this match, just as he did against Florida.

Day 3 of the Toronto Ultra Home Series kicks off tonight at 7PM GMT.
