CDL Atlanta Home Series - Day 2 Preview

Charlie Cater

Tonight the 2021 Call of Duty League season continues with another two matches. Here’s the odds, and our preview of the games.

Paris Legion (5.60) vs OpTic Chicago (1.09)

Paris Legion surprised many with their victory over the London Royal Ravens in the Kickoff Classic. They outperformed expectations and proved that they are a team that can compete this season, and will be looking to upset some teams.

OpTic Chicago however look like one of the best teams in the game. Their clinical 3-0 victory over the LA Thieves was simple, and makes OpTic look extremely dangerous this year. Scump and Formal are back to their best, both dropping 30 kills in the Hardpoint, while all OpTic players had a 1.20 K/D or above in the series.

This should be a quick series. If OpTic can play at the level they did against the Thieves, this may be another 3-0.

Los Angeles Guerrillas (5.60) vs Atlanta FaZe (1.09)

The Los Angeles Guerrillas took down bottom of the league opponents Seattle Surge in their Kickoff Classic match. While many fans see these teams as the two worst in the league, Apathy played exceptionally well and could be a star factor in any LAG upsets this season.

Atlanta FaZe didn't look at their best in the Kickoff Classic. Their 3-2 loss to the Florida Mutineers surprised many fans, as FaZe were set up to be the best team this year. However, if they have worked on their game since, this could yet again be a quick match. We definitely favour FaZe to win, and on their day this could be an easy 3-0.

Day Two of the Call of Duty League Atlanta Home Series kicks off at 8PM GMT on Thursday Feb. 10. You can watch on the Call of Duty League YouTube Channel.
