CDL Atlanta Home Series - Day 4 Preview

Charlie Cater

The Call of Duty League continues with three matches tonight, so we take a look at Saturday’s games and our preview.

London Royal Ravens (1.37) vs Seattle Surge (1.72)

London have a lot to prove with the addition of Parasite to their roster. Following a tough loss in the Kickoff Classic, they'll need to bounce back with a win. Well, against the Seattle Surge, they won't have any better opportunity this season.

The Seattle Surge were dominated by Dallas Empire on the opening day of the season to lose 3-0. While Seattle looks to be one of the worst teams in the league this year, this is London’s first official match as a team, so it may be risky to play a handicap bet here.

Minnesota Rokkr (4.60) vs Dallas Empire (1.13)

Minnesota will need to improve on their slaying coming into this match. They were dominated the LA Thieves in the respawn game modes, and a ruthless Dallas Empire will not let them get away with that.

Dallas Empire look like the best team in the game right now. Huke excelled in the first match of the season and already looks like an MVP contender, while Shotzzy, iLLeY and Crim continue on their great form. This could be a 3-0 or 3-1 for Dallas.

OpTic Chicago (1.82) vs Atlanta FaZe (1.82)

OpTic Chicago’s 3-0 victory against Paris Legion didn't come easy, but OpTic clutched up when needed to win the series. Envoy stood out once again, excelling in Search and Destroy, while the rest of the team kept up to their expectations.

Arcitys proved that he was the right man to bring in with an excellent performance against the Guerrillas, if he can play like this all season, FaZe will be Championship level. However, they can't afford to make sloppy mistakes against OpTic, because they will be punished if they do.
