CDL Champs - Day 3 Preview

The Call of Duty League Championship Weekend continues with more excellent matches today. Here’s our preview, and the odds for tonight's games.

Atlanta FaZe vs Dallas Empire

Atlanta FaZe came out hot with a 3-0 sweep over the New York Subliners in their first match at Champs. Simp dominated after being awarded the regular season MVP, and he’ll need to continue this top tier gameplay.

Dallas Empire dominated the Hardpoints against Toronto Ultra as Shotzzy shows why he was an MVP contender this year. iLLeY also turned up in the Search and Destroy, going big in Game 5 to secure the series. FaZe are definite favourites, but Empire could make it messy.

Toronto Ultra vs Minnesota ROKKR

Toronto Ultra were narrowly defeated by Dallas Empire who sent them down to the losers bracket. However, they rebounded with a very strong performance against OpTic Chicago, making themselves favourites for this matchup.

However, their opponents Minnesota ROKKR know they can defeat Toronto at any time, following their 0-4 to 5-4 Reverse Sweep in the Major 5 Grand Finals. Standy and MajorManiak dominated in the Checkmate Hardpoint, and with that being one of Ultra’s favourite maps, ROKKR have a chance here.
