CDL Stage 1 Major - Day 1 Preview
Tonight we see our first Major of the 2021 Call of Duty League season. With $500K and valuable CDL points up for grabs, these matches are set to be the best yet. Here’s all the odds and info you need to know for day one.
London Royal Ravens (3.05) vs Toronto Ultra (1.30)
After going 0-5 in their group, it’s hard to praise the Royal Ravens. They haven't looked good, but they have shown signs of improvement. After taking the World Champions, Dallas Empire to a game five, they’ll be confident going into this matchup. They have certainly improved since their match against Seattle, and therefore cannot be counted out just yet.
Toronto haven't had a much better start to the season either, going 1-4 in their group. While their victory over the Florida Mutineers may have sounded impressive at the start of the season, it doesn't seem to mean much now and this may be a closer game than many think. We still favour Toronto, and they look like the better team, but this match could go the distance.
Seattle Surge (3.65) vs Florida Mutineers (1.21)
While they sit 1-4 in the group, Seattle Surge have shown glimpses of quality. Gunless and Octane have really carried the squad, and they’ll need Prestinni to show up if they’re to win this match. If Prestinni performs, Seattle might force a game five, however if he doesn't, this could be a dominant win for Florida.
Florida have left much to be desired so far in the 2021 season. Owakening has been his usual self and absolutely dominated, however the Mutineers have struggled to get results. Whether it's the communication, speed or something else, no one seems to know. However, the Mutineers are better than they have recently shown, and could come out swinging for a quick win here.
Day one of the Stage 1 Major begins at 8PM GMT tonight with two losers bracket matches to kick it off. You can bet on the Stage 1 Major here.
