Stage 3 Week 1 concluded tonight with three more matches. Here’s the odds and our preview of tonight's games.
LA Thieves are coming off the back of a reverse sweep over Seattle Surge, and all the momentum will be on their side. Drazah has proved once again that he has the clutch factor needed, closing out a 1v2 to win the match against Surge. Thieves are looking good, and they should take this game.
The Royal Ravens were defeated 3-1 by OpTic Chicago, and they’ll look to bounce back in their second match of their Home Series. After bringing in new signing Zapitus, the team may need some time to settle, and this will be a tough game.
Atlanta FaZe will be more determined than ever to make a statement following their loss to Toronto Ultra in the Stage 2 Major finals. They’re undoubtedly the best team in the game when it comes to raw talent, so if their teamwork improves, they’ll be unstoppable.
However, the New York Subliners have just brought in HyDra, and they have a real chance at taking this match. HyDra is an exceptionally good player, and New York will need to use him to their advantage, and play around him as much as possible. FaZe have weaknesses, and New York are a great underdog bet here.
Toronto Ultra look dominant. The whole squad are frying, and Insight has become one of the best ARs in the game. This match will be extremely close, however, Ultra’s teamwork could see them prevail and come out on top.
Dallas Empire shocked the CDL community by dropping Huke following their 3-1 win over Paris Legion. The move sees FeLo join the squad, and iLLeY move to an SMG role. This is a shocking move, and could backfire for Empire. However, most teams have won their first match after a roster move this year, so Dallas could be a smart underdog bet.
