CDL Stage 4 Week 2 - Day 4 Preview

Charlie Cater

Week 2 of Stage 4 concludes tonight. With seven great games already played, we see three more tonight. Here’s the odds, and our preview of tonight's matches.

Florida Mutineers (1.27) vs Los Angeles Guerrillas (3.15)

The Florida Mutineers have looked hot in Stage 4 so far, and at their own Home Series, they’ll want to finish with a bang. After their victories over Toronto Ultra and the London Royal Ravens, they suffered a 3-2 defeat to the New York Subliners. This was a close match, and will give great confidence going into this match.

Known for their AR power, the LA Guerrillas will need to dominate the AR battle in this match. Skyz and Owakening have been playing great recently, and the only way LAG win this is if Assault and Chino shut them down.

Atlanta FaZe (1.19) vs LA Thieves (3.80)

Atlanta FaZe are the best team in the game. Their individual skill is great, while their teamwork is also exceptional. Their aggression is what wins them matches, and if they play like the FaZe we know, this should be in the bag.

The LA Thieves recently suffered a 3-1 loss to Paris Legion, and that could’ve easily been a 3-0. They were completely outslayed, and that may be something that we see again in this match against FaZe. The Thieves will need to forget about the Paris match, and go in with a fresh mindset.

New York Subliners (1.29) vs Dallas Empire (3.10)

The New York Subliners clutched up in a 3-2 win over the Florida Mutineers. Hydra was also feeling ill during this match, leading to a slightly under par performance from him. However, the team clutched up, and their overall gameplay looks exceptional.

Dallas Empire, or more specifically Shotzzy dominated in a 3-0 win over the LA Guerrillas to kick off Stage 4. Shotzzy played some of his best COD ever, and his dominant gameplay brought Empire their first sweep with Vivid. This is great momentum, and this match looks to be closer than you might expect.
