CDL Stage 4 Week 3 - Day 1 Preview

Charlie Cater

Week 3 of Stage 4 kicks off tonight, and we’re predicting it to be a quick one, here’s the odds, and our preview of tonight's games.

Toronto Ultra (1.15) vs Los Angeles Guerrillas (4.30)

Toronto Ultra are back to their best following their 3-2 defeat to the Florida Mutineers. In their most recent match, it was Bance who dominated with the SMG, tearing through the Royal Ravens, and ending the match in a quick 3-0. We predict the same outcome here, a quick 3-0.

The Los Angeles Guerrillas don’t seem to have much of a chance here. However, their AR dominance is their way into the matchup. While it’s a tough feat, if Assault and Chino can match the level of Cammy and Insight, LAG could find themselves challenging in this series.

OpTic Chicago (1.18) vs Seattle Surge (4.00)

OpTic Chicago are another team that look back to their best, however we know they still have more to give. While they've struggled against the best, OpTic haven't had any problems against the lower half of the league all season, and this should be another fast, 3-0 win.

Seattle Surge are currently on a 10 match loss streak, the joint worst in CDL history. We expect this to go one further, with a loss to OpTic here. While Seattle gets close to winning maps, they can never close them out, and this lack of composure has been an issue all year.
