CDL Stage 5 Week 2 - Day 3 Preview

Charlie Cater

The Call of Duty League action continues tonight with three more incredible matches. Here’s the odds, and our preview of tonight's games.

New York Subliners (1.25) vs London Royal Ravens (3.55)

The New York Subliners have struggled to pick up where they left off with Asim in the roster. Defeats to both LA Thieves and OpTic Chicago leave the Subliners desperate for a win here, and making this a possibly crucial matchup ahead of the Major.

The London Royal Ravens however will definitely struggle to compete with the Subliners following a 3-0 defeat to FaZe, and a 3-1 to the Thieves. While New York have struggled, we can't see the Ravens causing them much trouble here.

Florida Mutineers (1.05) vs Los Angeles Guerrillas (7.80)

The Florida Mutineers defeated Dallas Empire 3-1 as they clutched up when it was needed to take the match. With Control being their only loss in this series, the Guerrillas shouldn't pose them a threat whatsoever.

As for the Los Angeles Guerrillas, there’s not much to say. They don’t look like winning a match at all, and it’s looking like a 0-5 Stage 5 for them.

Toronto Ultra (1.05) vs Seattle Surge (7.80)

Toronto Ultra have continued to completely dominate the Call of Duty League with yet another 3-0 win over LAG earlier this week. We expect to see the same result here, with Toronto only getting better with each match.

Seattle Surge’s last match also resulted in a 3-0, however this was a 3-0 defeat to the Minnesota ROKKR. Surge seem to be able to compete in Control, but with that being Ultra’s best game mode, we see another 3-0 coming.
