CDL Stage 5 Week 2 - Day 4 Preview

Charlie Cater

The Call of Duty League action continues tonight with three more incredible matches. Here’s the odds, and our preview of tonight's games.

LA Thieves (1.15) vs Paris Legion (4.80)

The LA Thieves will head into this match with confidence after they successfully won a map against Atlanta FaZe earlier in the week. Slasher has dominated recently with the squad, and this match should be no problem for the Thieves.

Paris Legion on the other hand have struggled recently, and it doesn't seem as though they’ll be turning things around here. With the Thieves’ momentum and recent performances, this could be a quick series.

Atlanta FaZe (1.20) vs OpTic Chicago (4.00)

Atlanta FaZe have been dominant so far this season, and they’ve continued this good form in Stage 5. With only one map dropped so far, FaZe will be looking to continue their almost flawless run, and head into Major 5 as the #1 seed.

OpTic Chicago however are currently flawless in Stage 5, and will be looking to continue this here. While we can confidently say this won't be a 3-0 for OpTic, they definitely have a chance at taking down FaZe, but to do so they’ll need to take the first map.

Dallas Empire (1.25) vs Minnesota ROKKR (3.60)

Dallas Empire looked completely disjointed in their 3-1 loss to the Florida Mutineers earlier in the week. Their Hardpoint was extremely messy, and they allowed Florida to take advantage and make comebacks in both maps.

Minnesota ROKKR however have looked very consistent and solid throughout Stage 5. Currently 2-2 against Dallas Empire in the season, this should be a close match, and with them historically taking the advantage in SnD and Control, a game one win could seal the deal.
